In celebration of the recently event in California, where Proposition 8, an attempt at a statewide ban on gay marriage was overturned, Jessie and The Toy Boys released a music video for their brand new song "Runaway". Jessie commented:
“When I wrote 'Runaway' with DJ Skeet Skeet, we wrote it from the perspective of our 13 year old selves, who felt pressure from our parents and society to be something that we were not. The song is ultimately about breaking free and following your heart. I wanted to make a music video that told a similar story in relation to gay marriage.”
